{"id":924,"date":"2014-01-19T07:23:29","date_gmt":"2014-01-19T07:23:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/reviews.thechurchofapple.com\/?p=924"},"modified":"2014-01-19T07:24:04","modified_gmt":"2014-01-19T07:24:04","slug":"app-review-scanner-pro-by-readdle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reviews.thechurchofapple.com\/?p=924","title":{"rendered":"(App Review) Scanner Pro by Readdle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"itms:\/\/itunes.com\/apps\/scannerpro\">Scanner Pro<\/a>\u00a0by Readdle is possibly one of my favorite productivity apps available. \u00a0On sale for the rest of this week half off, regularly $6.99, this is an offer you don&#8217;t want to miss. \u00a0This app alone has completely negated the use of my desktop scanner. \u00a0Upon opening the app for the first time, you&#8217;ll be asked to create an account. \u00a0This is quite simple.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Scanner Pro\" src=\"http:\/\/thechurchofapple.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Scanner-Pro-300x225.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"270\" height=\"203\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When the application launches, a simplistic blue library can be seen. \u00a0At the bottom of the page there will be tabs to scan and upload images. \u00a0I couldn&#8217;t believe how easy and intuitive the interface ended up being. \u00a0Certainly easier than an actual scanner. \u00a0After scanning an image, the edges of the paper are automatically cropped, rotated, and centered. \u00a0The whole process was extremely painless. \u00a0You&#8217;ll also be able to edit contrast, brightness, rotation and filters. \u00a0After your picture is finalized, it is thrown into a folder back on the original library. \u00a0Under the sharing menu, your options are save, email, Dropbox, Google Drive, open in other app, Evernote, Web upload, print, fax, and password protect. \u00a0Alternatively, you&#8217;ll be able to plug it into iTunes and retrieve it under the app sharing menu. \u00a0Overall, the entire process seems perfected, although I haven&#8217;t tried to fax yet. \u00a0Occasionally, you&#8217;ll receive Email updates from Readdle, but I find them quite helpful.
